After enjoying a Patriot Builds sunroom at their previous home for more than 20 years, Jim and Eve knew exactly what was missing when they downsized into their villa. Working closely with the homeowners, Patriot Builds designed and built a custom three-season sunroom that seamlessly connects to the home while maximizing the existing outdoor space, along with a satellite grilling deck with direct yard access.

An Outdoor Space That Wasn’t Being Used
Although the home featured an existing patio, it simply wasn’t practical for daily use. Limited accessibility made it inconvenient, while constant direct sunlight made the space uncomfortable during much of the day. Jim and Eve decided it was time to recreate one of their favorite features from their previous home—a bright, comfortable sunroom where they could relax and host family gatherings.

The finished three-season sunroom completely transformed the way the homeowners use their outdoor living space. Positioned level with the home and connected to a dedicated BBQ deck, the new addition creates a natural extension of the house while improving traffic flow between indoor and outdoor areas—a beautiful, functional space Jim and Eve can enjoy throughout much of the year.
